Flint is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flint follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was in town for an event and had to get some quick breakfast so I stopped by this place. It is a local place that has good ratings and the food was actually pretty good. I got scrambled eggs and sausage and bacon and pancakes it was delicious. They overcooked my eggs and when I ordered the bacon it was very skimpy can hardly taste it because it was more like the sizzlin breaking that you buy in the grocery store and put in the microwave. I didn't take it back because I didn't have time as I was going to an event. The atmosphere was wonderful it's a down-home place so everyone in the neighborhood enjoys it and you will enjoy it too if you just make sure that you get your eggs the way you want it and I would skip the bacon if that is your forte.

This is the best restaurant around. We drive in from Clio twice a week. Price is very good for seniors for what you get. You don't go away hungry that's for sure and most of the time you have enough for another meal when you leave. The fish, Tom's Style, is a light batter and very good. Their soups are to die for, especially the broccoli, and chicken noodle, you can make a meal out of just a bowl of soup. The waitresses don't have MOSS growing under their feet that's for sure as they scurry around making sure everyone is happy. This is a Hidden Gem in the Flint area. If you haven't been, put in on your "too do" list, but go hungry!

I have been eating here for years. Best down home cooking ever. The burgers are the best. Fried chicken is fabulous! Great ham dinners & wonderful Roast beef as well. Huge portions. And they have the best deep fried mushrooms EVER. Staff are all so friendly , like family.

Youβre craving real, old-school comfort food, Grandma's Recipes absolutely delivers. We both ordered the fried chicken, which takes about 25β30 minutes because itβs made fresh and it shows. The batter is thin, crispy, and not overly heavy, and the flavor feels like something straight out of a home kitchen. This isnβt fast-food fried chickenβ¦ this is Sunday dinner at grandmaβs. The meal itself is a lot of food for around $17: four pieces of chicken, real mashed potatoes with homemade gravy, a vegetable, a potato, plus a salad and a cup of homemade chicken noodle soup with those old-school egg noodles. Everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned, not processed or rushed. We also tried the fried mushrooms everyone talks about, and they lived up to the hype. They use large portobello mushrooms, which makes a huge difference. No watery, soggy bite like you get at a lot of places, just a clean, meaty texture with a crispy coating. The atmosphere is calm and cozy. Lighting is dim enough to feel relaxed, and with only about 20 tables, itβs not loud or chaotic. No kids running wild or constant traffic in and out, just a laid-back, βtake your timeβ kind of vibe. The space has a log cabin f
